- How to Season the Pot: Before using the pot for the first time, wash it thoroughly with soapy water. Then, bring clean water to a boil in the pot several times until no more residue comes off. Coat the surface of the pot with a thin layer of vegetable or animal oil, let it sit overnight, and finally rinse and dry the pot again.
- Care Instructions: Over time and with proper care, the skillet will develop a smooth, oil-satin finish. After each wash, do not let it air dry or leave it soaking in water; wipe it dry with a cloth to ensure no water remains.
