With the Japanese-made 1HP fan, air-cooled and brushless motor, reliable heating element, and adjustable air-flow, this stand-mounted dryer can be heat adjusted between 77 and 167 degrees Fahrenheit while still maintaining high standards of double-hose construction to prevent any possibility of overheating. Due to the variability in air speed needs between cat and dog species, the wind speed knob can pump out a hefty 38 m/s blast or be toned down to a gentle yet effective flow. While being powerful, these dryers are also extremely quiet – at full power they do not go above 40dB.
